Web Developer Intern

As a software development intern at Dolphin Micro, you can expect to build upon and hone your development skills, gain valuable experience working alongside talented senior-level developers in a consulting environment, and expand your portfolio to include projects for both innovative startups and big-name clients like AT&T and WIRED.

Our internship program is designed to prepare you for a full-time development position within our company upon your graduation, and you’ll receive the same level of training and mentorship as would any new member of our small, tight-knit team.

We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your coursework. Depending upon your availability, you’ll work between 15 and 40 hours per week.

  • College junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a computer science or related degree
  • Programming experience in any of the following:
    • Ruby on Rails
    • Python
    • CSS
    • Javascript
    • Java
    • Objective-C
    • HTML
    • Database development with Postgresql or MySQL
  • Object-oriented design or SQL programming skills
  • Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), analytical and interpersonal skills

Our interns have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and platforms, and to see their projects through from beginning to end (including both front- and back-end development as well as testing). You’ll work independently, on your own schedule, and develop the solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills you’ll need to become a top-notch software engineer.
